How do I create a staff note?

You can access the staff notes function from either the i) “Staff Selection” screen, ii) from the “Notes” red puzzle piece on the right hand side

 

i)                    Staff Selection screen

 

1.                  From the “Home” screen, click on the “Employees” icon.

 

2.                  Select the staff member’s name from the drop down list and click the “Notes” button.

 

3.                  Continue to step 5 of this procedure.

 

 

ii)                  “Notes” red puzzle piece

 

1.      Click on the “Notes” red puzzle piece on the right hand side

 

2.      Click on the “Staff Notes” radial button.

 

3.      Update the category for the staff member and click the “Search” button.

 

4.      Select the staff member’s name from the drop down box.

 

 

5.      Click on the “Add note” button.

 

 

6.      You can either select a “Topic” from the drop down box or type in a new topic in the “Enter topic” field.

 

7.      Type in a “Subject” and select “My eyes only” if you require the note to be private.

 

8.      Type in the “Message Text” which is a free text field.

 

If you would like to attach a file that is stored on your computer, click on the “Attach file” button.

 

If you would like to set a reminder for a later date, click the “Set reminder” button.

 

9.      Click the “Update” button to save this note.
