Question: How do I transfer a child from one centre or license to another?

Answer:

Before you transfer a child from one license or centre to another, please ensure that you have completed all invoicing, receipting etc for this child in the old centre first.

From the home menu, click the  "Children" icon, or from anywhere in the system, click the blue piece of puzzle at the top left of the screen that is labeled "Child".

Select the child's name from the drop down list of children's names. If your child does not appear in the list, you may need to change your category to the appropriate category and then click the "search" button.

Please enter the date which the child will leave this centre.

Please enter the date when the child will start at the new centre.

bullet

check the first box If you wish to leave all financial transaction history for this child in the original centre and only transfer the current account balance to the new centre.

Check the second box if you wish to transfer all of the financial transaction history and the account balance to the new centre.

bullet

Check the third box if you wish to transfer the child's reference number to the new centre. If you do not check this box, the child will be assigned a new reference number in the new centre.

Check the fourth box if you wish to transfer WINZ details for this child to the new centre.

bullet

Check the fifth box if you wish to transfer any auto payment details for this child to the new centre.

bullet

Check the sixth box if you wish to transfer details of holidays taken by this child to the new centre.

From the drop down list, select the name of the centre which this child will be transferred to.

When you have completed the details for the transfer and you are SURE that they are correct, click the "continue" button to complete the transfer and return to the child selection screen.

If you wish to discard these transfer details, click the "Cancel" button to return to the child selection screen.
